Ricotta CheesecakeBy Vera Keblish, Mary Pupchek and Julie Firlet
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Marble cake mix. ¾ cup chocolate chips
2 lbs. Ricotta cheese ¾ cup walnuts, chopped
¾ cup sugar 20 chopped cherries, any kind
1 tsp. vanilla
Prepare cake mix as instructed on back of box. Pour into a greased and floured 9” x 13” pan. Set aside. In a bowl mix ricotta cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add chocolate chips, walnuts and cherries. Spread this mixture over cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until done. When done the cheese will be on the bottom and the cake will be on the top. Serve with your favorite topping.
